Traffic Alert: Construction to Begin on Route 73 in Philadelphia

Traffic Restrictions Chester County

PHILADELPHIA, PA — On Route 73 (Cottman Avenue) in Philadelphia, Brixmor Roosevelt Mall Owner LLC will carry out utility construction next week, announced by The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

Starting Monday, May 15 through Friday, June 9, a daily lane closure is scheduled between U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) and Bustleton Avenue during peak hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

It is recommended that motorists allot extra time when passing through the work zone because backups and delays will occur. All activities will be weather-dependent, as Brixmor Roosevelt Mall Owner LLC completes the project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy permit.
