Three Suspects Arrested After Loaded Gun Recovered in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of 28-year-old Adejah Carter, 34-year-old Fatimah Ross, and 26-year-old Khalia Taylor-Johnson following an altercation involving a firearm.

Authorities stated that on January 18 at approximately 2:41 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of 30th and North Market Streets in reference to an alleged fight involving a firearm. Police took three subjects into custody without incident – Adejah Carter, Fatimah Ross and Khalia Taylor-Johnson – and recovered a loaded 9mm handgun.

Carter has been charged with Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon. She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released pending further proceedings.

Ross has been charged with Offensive Touching. She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released pending further proceedings.

Taylor-Johnson has been charged with Offensive Touching. She was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released pending further proceedings.
