Three People Injured in 55th Street Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help in finding three suspects wanted in connection with a shooting that injured three people.

Authorities stated that the incident occurred on February 15, 2023, at 7:04 pm, when two males dressed in all black clothing and armed with semi-automatic weapons opened fire on a crowd of people standing by a convenience store at 55th Market St. Three people, were struck and listed in stable condition at local hospitals. Prior to the shooting, the suspects were dropped off by a silver sedan, presumed to be a 2019 Volkswagen Passat, on the unit block of North Ithan St. This vehicle is seen speeding by the scene, northbound on the unit block of North 56th St.
