The Search Continues: 8-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured After Hit and Run

BEAR, DE — The search continues for the driver responsible for injuring an 8-year-old boy in a hit-and-run collision.

New Castle County Police announced the child was struck on Thursday, March 2nd, in the community of St. Andrews Addition Townhouses and is currently listed in stable condition at A.I. DuPont Children’s Hospital. Officers have released a description of the striking vehicle, which is now missing a headlight and windshield wiper as a result of the collision. The suspect vehicle is a black sport-style sedan with projector-style headlights.
