Suspect Wanted for Robbery of Philadelphia Dollar General Store

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection to the robbery of a Dollar General Store.

Authorities stated that on April 10, 2023, at approximately 9:13 am, the suspect went behind the counter of the store located at 1300 Lehigh Avenue and implied that he had a gun before demanding money from the cash register. When the clerk refused to open the register, the suspect left and was last seen walking south on 13th Street from Lehigh Avenue.

Central Detective Division is asking for help from anyone who may have information about this incident or can identify this individual. Det. Fairweather of the Central Detective Division is leading this investigation and can be reached at 215-686-3093 with any information.

Detective Fairweather says, “We are actively pursuing all leads in order to apprehend this individual and bring him to justice. Any information that could help us with our investigation would be greatly appreciated.”

The suspect is described as a black male in his teens, 5’11” tall, thin build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and white sneakers.
