Suspect Wanted for Residential Burglary in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Detective Division is seeking the public’s help identifying the individual seen in recently released video clips.

Authorities state that on May 6, 2022, an unknown black male gained entry to an apartment building on the 100 block of New Street by prying open the door to the lobby. Once inside the suspect took numerous packages belonging to residents and then fled the area in an unknown direction.

  • Suspect Description: Black male wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark pants, gray sneakers and blue backpack.
