BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that stormwater improvements are planned in Bucks County starting next week.

From Monday, June 24, through Friday, June 28, a lane closure will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Highland Avenue between Avenue F and Hulmeville Road in Middletown Township for paving.

Additionally, from June 24 through mid-July, a weekday lane closure will occur in both directions on Route 213 (Old Lincoln Highway/Maple Avenue) between Woodbourne Road and Wheeler Way, also in Middletown Township, for stormwater replacement. These closures will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Motorists should plan for significant delays and allow extra time when traveling through these areas. Traffic backups and delays will occur due to the lane closures. The schedule is weather dependent.

Highway Materials, Inc. of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor for this state-funded project.
