WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police are currently conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that took place on Friday around 10:52 p.m. in the 500 block of North Madison Street.

During the incident, an 18-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound and was promptly taken to the hospital. The victim is currently in stable condition, but authorities are withholding any further details about his identity at this time. The investigation is ongoing and actively being pursued.
