Wilmington Police Investigate Shooting on North Franklin Street

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced they have launched an investigation into a recent shooting on North Franklin Street. On Thursday, at around 3:55 p.m., a 34-year-old male victim was found in critical condition after gunfire erupted.

The Wilmington Police Department is urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to come forward and contact Detective Douglas Rivell at 302-576-3633. Delaware Crime Stoppers also welcomes any tips to assist the force in ongoing investigative efforts – information can be submitted to 1-800-TIP-3333 or delawarecrimestoppers.org.

The Wilmington Police Department is currently investigating the case and the details may change anytime as new information comes to light.
