The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that signage installation will continue on U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) under a project to install safety enhancements to improve travel and reduce high-speed crashes across the five-county Philadelphia region.
The work schedules and locations are:
- Monday, March 20, through Monday, April 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on Evans Road between Meetinghouse Road and Evans Road in Lower Gwynedd Township; and
- Monday, March 20, through Monday, April 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on Fitzwatertown Road between Lakevue Drive and Route 263 (York Road) in Upper Moreland Township; and
- Monday, March 20, through Monday, April 3, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane closures are scheduled on Philmont Avenue between Manor Drive and Woodland Circle in Lower Moreland Township.
Drivers are being advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, is the general contractor on this $7,561,020 project, which is financed with 100% federal funds.
