Safety Improvement Work Continues on MacDade Boulevard in Ridley Township

RIDLEY TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that work continues on MacDade Boulevard in Ridley Township, Delaware County, under a project to improve travel and safety on MacDade Boulevard and at the northbound Interstate 476 and MacDade Boulevard Interchange.

The work schedule and location are:

  • Monday, February 6, through Friday, February 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, periodic lane closures are scheduled in both directions on MacDade Boulevard between Bullens Lane and Fariview Road.

Motorists are being advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Allan Myers, LP, of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the $16.2 million project, which is financed with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds. The entire project is scheduled to finish in the summer of 2026.
