road closed

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that roadway and drainage repairs will take place on Stump Hall Road in Worcester Township, Montgomery County, under a project to repair state highways that sustained damage from the remnants of Hurricane Ida in September 2021.

The work schedule and location are:

  • Monday, March 27, through early April, a 24/7 road closure is scheduled on Stump Hall Road between Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) and Hollow Road. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) and Route 73 (Skippack Pike).

Motorists should allow extra time when traveling near the work area because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

J. D. Eckman, Inc. of Atglen, Chester County, is the general contractor on this $1.8 million project, which is financed with 80 percent federal and 20 percent state funds.
