SOUTHEASTERN PENNSYLVANIA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has slated several maintenance operations in Bucks and Delaware counties, poised to disrupt local commutes.
Starting Monday, May 13, Route 32 (River Road) in Lower Makefield Township will be closed for pipe replacement, with subsequent closures extending through May 24 during weekday hours from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Motorists are advised to brace for significant backups and seek alternate routes.
Additionally, on Wednesday, May 15, Goshen Road in Radnor Township will see a one-day closure for tree removal, further testing the patience of Delaware County travelers. While local access will be maintained,
PennDOT urges drivers to anticipate delays and allocate extra travel time when navigating near these areas.
