Reward Offered to Those Who Help Identify Murder Suspect

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A $20,000 reward is being offered in a Philadelphia homicide for information that will help investigators identify and convict a suspect in the case, say authorities.

The Philadelphia Police Department Homicide Unit is looking to identify the male suspect, depicted in surveillance video excerpts, as part of an ongoing investigation into the shooting death of a 37-year-old male victim on Thursday, May 28th, 2020, in the 5200 block of Wayne Avenue.

Investigators state that the suspect appeared to have waited for the victim to enter his vehicle, at which time he ran up to him and shot him numerous times.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, thin built, but slightly muscular, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, with a white t-shirt showing underneath the sweatshirt, and light-colored athletic shoes with dark/black heeled soles.
