Reward Offered in Philadelphia’s Fatal North Lawrence Street Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department announced that a $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects wanted in a recent shooting incident.

Authorities state that on May 29, 2022, at approximately 9:18 pm, three perpetrators approached the 3000 block of North Lawrence Street and fired numerous shots at several people in the area. A female victim was struck and wounded by the gunfire. A male victim was struck and died of his injuries. The incident was captured on video. The perpetrators were also seen on video in the area earlier in the day. The perpetrators were seen operating a black Mercedes Benz GLC 300 bearing a paper registration tag of XD317635.

Suspect Description:

  • Suspect #1: is described as a white or Hispanic male wearing a grey hooded jacket, and black pants.
  • Suspect #2: is described as a Black male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the logo “BACKWOODS” on the chest, and black shorts.
  • Suspect #3: is described as a male wearing a tie-dyed hooded sweatshirt and light color pants.
