PHILADELPHIA, PA — Qlik® recently announced that its Qlik Cloud® Government platform has achieved StateRAMP Moderate Authorization. This certification allows all U.S. state and local governments, as well as public educational institutions, to confidently utilize Qlik Cloud’s modern cloud analytics for their data transformation initiatives.

StateRAMP, modeled after FedRAMP, is a significant cloud security attestation specifically designed to meet the technology and compliance requirements of state and local governments and educational organizations. Authorization ensures that these entities can leverage advanced AI while adhering to rigorous security standards set by StateRAMP.

“Qlik’s commitment to the StateRAMP process and demonstrating the security capability and compliance of Qlik Cloud Government supports our efforts at the State of Arizona for an effective and streamlined security review process,” said J.R. Sloan, State Chief Information Officer, Arizona Department of Administration.

Qlik Cloud Government, built on Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) GovCloud (US) and available through the AWS Marketplace, sets a standard for public sector cloud analytics. It enhances workforce capabilities with AI-powered insight suggestions and natural-language interaction, helping to improve constituent experiences, which is among the National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) top 10 priorities for 2023.

Andrew Churchill, U.S Public Sector lead at Qlik, emphasized the importance of secure protocols and authorizations in modernizing operations. “Achieving StateRAMP Authorization builds on Qlik’s growing set of public validations that demonstrate our continued commitment to providing agencies at every level, modern, secure and compliant solutions needed to drive their data transformation goals.”

The StateRAMP attestation is the latest in a series of authorizations for Qlik Cloud Government, including being authorized at the FedRAMP Moderate Impact Level (IL) and Department of Defense (DOD) IL2. This series of authorizations underscores Qlik’s dedication to security, compliance, and the ongoing data transformation of the public sector.
