Police Seek Public Help in Hunt for Suspects in Temple Hospital Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance for information in reference to a shooting that occurred outside of Temple Hospital Emergency Room on June 1, 2023.

Investigators say that three black male victims ages 18, 22, and 25 were standing by the entrance of Temple Hospital when four occupants of a black Dodge Charger exited their vehicle and opened fire with semi-automatic handguns. The suspects fled the area and were last seen making a right turn onto Rising Ave from Germantown Ave, towards Broad St. Over fifty pieces of ballistic evidence were recovered from the crime scene. All three victims were listed in stable condition.

Suspects #1 and #2 are males dressed in dark hooded sweatshirts (race unknown). Suspect #3 is a male wearing grey sweatpants with white stripes on the outer thighs and a dark hooded sweatshirt (race unknown). Suspect #4 is a male sporting a dark long jacket over a dark hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and white sneakers (race unknown).
