Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect in Fatal Hit and Run

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash.

Authorities stated that on March 8, 2023, at 7:42 pm, a vehicle (pictured above) struck and killed a pedestrian at Civic Center Blvd and University Ave. The vehicle was last seen going toward the I76 east on the ramp from University Ave.

Police are asking anyone with information about the identity of the driver or the vehicle to please contact them at 215.686.TIPS (8477).
