PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run.
Authorities state that on July 22, 2022, at 12:45 AM, an unknown person operating a dual rear wheel pick-up truck struck a bicyclist at the intersection of 52nd & Wyalusing Avenue. The victim, a 28-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the Presbyterian Hospital a short time later.
The police are now searching for the driver of the truck. The vehicle is described as a dark color pick-up truck equipped with 4 wheels on the rear axle with damage to the left front headlight area and left rear-view mirror.
