Police Investigating Shooting in Folcroft

FOLCROFT, PA — The Folcroft Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the 500 block of Folcroft Avenue on Friday, June 11, 2021, at approximately 3:24 pm.

Authorities state that an innocent victim was driving on Hook Road when a bullet went through the driver’s side door and struck the driver. Police found numerous spent shell casings in the 500 block of Folcroft Avenue as well as several parked vehicles that were struck by gunfire.

Police are asking for help in identifying the driver/owner of the pictured maroon Nissan, the Nissan appears to have tinted windows and a moon roof. This vehicle is seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed down Tribbett Avenue, making a left turn on Newlin Avenue. There is also a silver sedan that was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
