Police Hunt for Fugitive Wanted for Making Bomb Threat

EPHRATA, PA — Ephrata Police have charged Anna Marie Shreiner, 24, last known address in Strasburg, PA, with Terroristic Threats and Threat to Use Weapons of Mass Destruction as the result of the investigation into on bomb threat at Magisterial District Judge Russell’s Office, 609 East Main Street, Ephrata Borough on May 19, 2021.

Police allege that Shreiner, who was scheduled to turn herself in at Magisterial District JudgeTony S. Russell’s office at 10:00 a.m. on May 19, 2021, to be arraigned on drug charges, called the office at 9:26 a.m. and told a staff member that “you’re gonna blow up today, there’s a bomb in there and you don’t know where it is”. The threat caused the evacuation of the building and required police to clear the building.  Ephrata Police hold a warrant for the arrest of Shreiner.

Shreiner is charged with the following offenses:

  • Terroristic Threats
  • Threat to Use Weapons of Mass Destruction
