Police: Can You Help Identify Vandalism Suspect?

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department’s Central Detective Division is seeking the public’s help identifying the individual seen in the included video clips.

Investigators state that on January 8, 2022, an unknown male attempted to pull down a statue at the Buddhist Association of Philadelphia on the 1200 block of Ridge Ave, but he was unsuccessful. The same individual returned the following day and this time he was able to pull the statue down.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, 20 years of age, wearing a dark-colored coat, dark-colored “Nike” hat, dark-colored pants and white shoes.
