Police Attempt to ID Suspect in Lancaster County Catalytic Converter Thefts

EAST LAMPETER TWP, PA — The East Lampeter Township Police say they are investigating a report of two catalytic converters stolen from the parking lot of Dutch Quality at 72 Pitney Road that occurred on June 8, 2022.

Authorities state that security video showed the suspect cased the property on June 7, 2022, between 8:18 and 8:20 PM, then returned in the same vehicle between 10:01—10:14 PM that same night. The converters were taken from two Ford vehicles, a box truck and a van. The pictured suspect vehicle appears to be a 2017-2019 Toyota Corolla sedan, black, with an unknown rear plate.

The suspect is being described as a White or Hispanic male, mid 20’s – mid 30’s, 5’7”—5’10”, thin build, light beard, wearing red baseball hat, red T-shirt, jean shorts, white sneakers. He also appears to have tattoos on his arms and at least one calf.
