Police Arrest Wilmington Man on Gun and Drug Charges

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police have arrested a man on gun and drug charges.

On June 29 at approximately 4:30 p.m. members of the Street Crimes Unit conducted a vehicle stop in the area of 4th and West Streets.  Police made contact with and occupant, 20-year-old Keyhon Davis.  Following a brief investigation, police recovered a loaded 9mm handgun and 5.5 grams of marijuana.  Davis was taken into custody without incident.

Davis was charged with the following offenses:

  • Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
  • Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
  • Breach of Conditions
  • Possession of Marijuana

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $15,100 cash-only bail.
