Police Arrest Three Men on Gun Charges After Shots Fired Incident in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, DE — Three males have been arrested by Wilmington Police in connection with gun charges after a shots fired incident.

According to the criminal complaint, on May 2, at approximately 1:27 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division, responded to the 2800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, in references to a shots fired incident. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle driving erratically and conducted a vehicle stop. Officers made contact with three occupants of the vehicle – 36-year-old Victor Hernandez, 23-year-old Juan Carrillo Villagom, and 25-year-old David Hernandez Garcia. Following a brief investigation, officers recovered a .32-caliber handgun, and 27 grams of marijuana. The three males were taken into custody without incident.

Victor Hernandez was charged with the following offenses:

  • Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
  • Possession of a Firearm While Under the Influence
  • Driving a Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on his own recognizance.

Juan Carrillo Villagom was charged with the following offenses:

  • Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
  • Consumption of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle
  • Discharging a Firearm on a Public Road

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on $2,551 unsecured bail.

David Hernandez Garcia was charged with the following offenses:

  • Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
  • Possession of a Firearm While Under the Influence
  • Discharging a Firearm on a Public Road

He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was released on his own recognizance.
