Police Arrest Suspect in Aggravated Assault

LITITZ, PA — The Lititz Borough Police Department arrested Dominic X. Croumbley, age 19, last known address of Lititz for Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and Disorderly Conduct.

Authorities state that on October 1, 2021, at around 11:48 pm, police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Front Street for an assault that was in progress involving a male armed with a knife.  When officers arrived they located an adult male victim suffering from facial injuries. Officers learned that Croumbley had attacked and repeatedly punched the victim inside a residence.  The victim fled the residence at which point Croumbley retrieved a knife from inside the residence and followed the victim outside. Croumbley continued assaulting the victim outside and attempted to stab the victim with the knife.  The victim was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. Officers located Croumbley inside a residence and he was taken into custody.

Croumbley was charged with the following charges:

  • Aggravated Assault
  • Simple Assault
  • Disorderly Conduct

Croumbley was transported to Central Booking where he was arraigned on the charges and committed to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $25,000 dollars bail.  A preliminary hearing will be scheduled.
