Police Arrest Man on Drug Charges, Seize Crack Cocaine and Heroin

WILMINGTON, DE — Wilmington Police announced the arrest of 33-year-old Isaiah Wright after allegedly being found in possession of crack cocaine and heroin.

The criminal complaint alleges that on May 15, at approximately 2:08 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 2300 block of N. Market Street, when they observed 33-year-old Isaiah Wright engaged in drug-related activity. Police conducted a pedestrian stop of Wright who was taken into custody without incident and was found to be in possession of 13.8 grams of crack cocaine, and .217 grams of heroin.

Wright has been charged with the following offenses:

  • Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute – Two Counts
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 2 Quantity

He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $19,000 unsecured bail.
