Police Alert: Help Identify Suspect in Gunpoint Robbery at Philadelphia Rite Aid

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police is attempting to identify the individual responsible for a commercial gunpoint robbery.

Department Northwest Detective Division announced that on Saturday, June 3, 2023, the complainant reported she was working as a cashier at the Rite Aid at 5612 N. 5th St. At 4:10 pm an unknown black male approached her and pulled out a gun and demanded the money from the register. The suspect demanded money, which was handed over as instructed. After seizing the loot, the offender fled the store on foot. The last sighting of the suspect was reported moving east along Olney from 5th St.

The suspect is a medium-built black male with a beard and mustache. During the incident, he was seen wearing a black Nike hoodie, blue Adidas sweatpants, and red and black Nike sneakers.
