Pipe Replacement Scheduled on Several State Highways in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that pipe replacements are scheduled on several state highways in Montgomery County.

The work schedules and locations are:

  • Monday, January 9, through Friday, February 3, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 63 (Sumneytown Pike) at the Thompson Road Intersection in Upper Salford Township;
  • Monday, January 9, through Friday, February 3, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on East Orvilla Road between Clymer Road and Independence Way in Hatfield Township; and
  • Wednesday, January 11, through Friday, February 3, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Game Farm Road between Summit Avenue and Ryanford Road in Limerick and Lower Frederick townships and Schwenksville Borough, Montgomery County.

Drivers are being advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Highway Materials, Inc of Flourtown, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on this $14.9 million project, which is financed with 100% state funds.
