Philly Police Seeking Two Suspects in Dollar+Discount Store Robbery

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police are on the hunt for two suspects who robbed a dollar+discount store at knife-point.

The robbery occurred on December 5, 2022, at 6:30 pm at the Dollar+Discount & Variety Store at 1332 Girard Avenue. The suspects, who were both black males, approached an employee and demanded money while stating they were armed with a handgun and a knife, respectively. After taking $100 from the cash register and the employee’s cell phone, the suspects fled in an unknown direction.
