Philly Police Seek Suspects Responsible for Robbery at Rodrigues Grocery

PHILADELPHIA, PAPhiladelphia Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects who walked into the Rodrigues Grocery located at 2438 W. Thompson Street and demanded money from the cashier before fleeing.

Authorities state that on January 18, 2022, at 7:45 pm, two unknown black males entered Rodrigues Grocery. One of the suspects pulled a handgun, demanding money and tobacco products. The suspects stole an unknown amount of money and tobacco products along with the complainant’s cellphone, car keys and various identification cards before fleeing the area. No injuries were reported during this incident.

Suspect Description:

  • Suspect #1: Black male, wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark pants and blue sneakers.
  • Suspect #2: Black male, wearing a dark jacket, hooded sweatshirt, gray pants and gray sneakers.
