Philly Police Release Surveillance Footage of Suspect in Sanitation Worker Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA — In an effort to identify the suspect involved in the shooting death of a Philadelphia sanitation worker, the Philadelphia Police Department released surveillance footage of the incident.

The shooting occurred on November 18th, 2022 at 10:33 am in the 7300 block of Rowland Avenue. The suspect vehicle, described as a 2015 to 2019 Subaru Outback with a roof rack and dark-tinted windows, was captured on video driving away from the scene.

The suspect is described as a Black male that at the time of the incident was wearing a dark blue jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black “Jordan 11” athletic shoes with white soles. The male was also wearing a black mask.

The Philadelphia Police Department is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the suspect in this case. No matter how small or insignificant it may seem, every bit of information is important and can help solve this crime.
