Philly Police Offers $20K Reward for Info on 2022 Deadly Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s aid and is now offering a $20,000 reward for details on a deadly shooting.

Detectives with the Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit say that on October 4, 2022, at approximately 12:26 am, an unknown offender approached a 21-year-old male victim who was sitting in his car in the 1700 block of Church Lane. The Offender fired several shots, striking the victim. The suspect then fled and was last seen fleeing on foot on Church Lane, running in the direction of 17th and Limekiln Pike. The victim died of his injuries.
