Philadelphia Police Warn of Robbery Suspect Who Uses a Needle

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect who used a needle during the commission of the crime.

Authorities stated that on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 2:40 am, an unknown white male entered the Wawa convenience store located at 3230 Richmond Street and approached a store employee at the checkout counter. The suspect pointed a needle at the store employee demanding money from the cash register. After complying with the suspect’s demands, and giving him an unknown amount of money, the suspect then fled the store in an unknown direction. There were no injuries to any store employees.
