Philadelphia Police Seek to Identify Package Thief

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a package theft.

Authorities stated that on February 19, 2023, the complainant reported that an unknown person stole a package from her doorstep on the 1000 block of Slocum St. Video surveillance recovered shows a black male walking up to the complainant’s front step and taking a package that was previously ordered. The offender then walks back to a silver Dodge and flees the area. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a blue coat with white sleeves with the words “The Future is Ours” on the front and back.
