Philadelphia Police Seek Suspects in Store Manager Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA —In the early morning hours of February 19, 2023, an armed robbery turned deadly at the Save A Lot store located at 6301 Chew Ave in Philadelphia. The Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects who shot the store manager point blank in the face.

According to investigators, the suspects had been involved in a verbal dispute with the store manager and security guard before producing a firearm and pointing it at the security guard. The guard was able to disarm the female suspect and both were escorted from the building. However, both suspects quickly returned to confront the store manager a second time. During this altercation, the male suspect shot him point blank in the face, leaving him critically injured.
