PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with an aggravated assault that took place earlier this month.
Authorities state that on July 12, 2022, at approximately 10:35 am, the victim was walking her dog on the 700 block of Taney Street when she was approached by an unknown black male. The man pointed a gun at the victim and asked for her phone and purse. When the victim refused to hand over her belongings, the suspect took her purse and then fled the scene. No one was injured during this ordeal.
The suspect is described as a black male, 57 inches tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black cloth on his head, a black t-shirt, blue sweatpants and blue and white sneakers.
