Philadelphia Police Investigating the Theft of a Firearm

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Detectives in Philadelphia are investigating the theft of a firearm from an unlocked vehicle.

Authorities state that on June 13, 2022, at approximately 3:09 PM, the victim, a 29-year-old female, parked her vehicle on the 18xx block of E. Albert Street with her Glock model 23, 40 caliber firearm inside. When she later realized the firearm was missing, the surveillance video depicts that it was taken by an unidentified male walking up the street who is checking vehicle doors. When he realizes the victim’s vehicle door is unlocked he takes the firearm and leaves the area.
