Philadelphia Police Asking for Public’s Assistance in Reference to a Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding the suspect responsible for a shooting that took place on April 4, 2022.

The victim, a 25-year-old man, was engaged in a verbal argument with another male on the corner of Old York Rd. and Ruscomb St. when the male pulled out a gun and shot him in the face. The victim attempted to run away, but was shot several more times. He was treated at Einstein Hospital after suffering gunshot wounds to his face and thigh.

The suspect fled the area on foot and was captured on video from a local business. He is described as a black male with white dreadlocks, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
