PHILADELPHIA, PA — In the early morning hours of August 17, 2022, four unknown black males were involved in a catalytic converter theft that turned deadly.
When the vehicle’s owner and a witness confronted the purpetrators, one of the offenders brandished a semi-automatic firearm and shot the witness in the chest. The other offenders then fled the scene in a silver sedan and on foot. The suspects are described as being approximately 20-30 years old and were wearing masks at the time of the robbery. No further description is available at this time.
