PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is set to commence resurfacing operations on Broad Street (Route 611) in Philadelphia, potentially affecting daily commutes.

The project spans from Penn Square to Oregon Avenue and is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 16. Initial preparations will take place on September 16 and 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with alternating lane closures in both directions. Following this, paving activities are slated from September 16 through September 20, occurring nightly between 7:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
