Philadelphia Business Ransacked in Early Morning Burglary on Germantown Ave

PHILADELPHIA, PA — On Wednesday, September 28, 2023, a commercial business located on the 2600 block of Germantown Ave fell victim to an early morning burglary. At approximately 3:04 a.m., an employee who had just secured the roll-down security doors and retreated to the back of the store heard noises emanating from the front.

Upon checking the security cameras, the employee observed three unknown black males outside the store. In a swift sequence of actions, suspect #1 pulled up the security gate, allowing suspect #2 to pry apart the Plexiglas from the window. This breach in security permitted suspects #2 and #3 to gain entry into the premises.

Once inside, the suspects proceeded to ransack the store, making off with $150 from the cash register before making their escape.
