Pennsylvania State Police: Two Dogs Shot in Lancaster County

MARTIC TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating an animal cruelty incident that occurred on February 1, 2023.

Authorities stated that Troopers responded to 4 Pinnacle Road West, Martic Township, Lancaster County for a report of two dogs that had been shot. Upon arrival, the property owner reported her two dogs were out in the yard when she heard multiple gunshots. Upon further investigation, the owner found one dog deceased in the yard. The other dog was transported to the Pet Emergency Treatment and Specialties facility in Lancaster City and survived after receiving treatment for multiple gunshot wounds.
