Pennsylvania State Police Investigating Identity Theft and Bank Fraud

CHADDS FORD, PA — The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a theft by deception that occurred on September 24, 2022, at 12:35 PM.

The pictured suspect entered Iron Workers Bank located on Ridge Road in Chadds Ford Township. It is alleged that the suspect provided the pictured fraudulent United States passport card displaying the victim’s identifiers and attempted to use the victim’s account number to make a withdrawal. The transaction was canceled because the teller recognized the victim’s name and the account number used. The suspect fled the bank on foot.
