Pennsylvania State Police Investigate Theft of Wheelchair in Lancaster County

SADSBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — On September 13, 2023, at approximately 5:13 p.m., a wheelchair was allegedly stolen from the Dutch-Way Farm Market on Route 41 in Sadsbury Township, Lancaster County. The theft is currently under investigation by the Pennsylvania State Police out of Lancaster.

Store surveillance footage revealed a female suspect stealing the wheelchair from the breezeway of the store and loading it into a white Hyundai Elantra, model year between 2015 and 2020. The vehicle bears a Pennsylvania registration plate that possibly begins with the letter ‘L’.

The suspect was seen wearing a baggy, white t-shirt emblazoned with a Puerto Rican flag, gray sweatpants, and what appeared to be slippers or slides. There was another woman in the passenger seat of the vehicle during the incident.

The Pennsylvania State Police have urged anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspects to come forward.
