PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Lottery announced that a retailer in Philadelphia sold a Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $2 million for the Saturday, December 31 drawing.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 18-37-44-50-64, but not the red Powerball 11, to win $2 million, less applicable withholding. Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $1 million. The Power Play multiplier drawn was three.

Porter Beverage, 706 North Porter St., Philadelphia, earns a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated.

The Powerball jackpot for today, January 4th drawing stands at an estimated $291 million, or $147.9 million cash.
