LOWER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a major utility construction project that is expected to cause disruptions on two state highways in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County, next week. The work forms part of a local safety improvement initiative.

From Monday, January 8, through Friday, January 12, motorists can expect lane closures between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Park Avenue, between Eagleville Road and Sandpiper Road. Additionally, during the same period and hours, a lane closure is also scheduled on Eagleville Road, between Blue Teel Circle and Park Avenue.

Motorists are advised to prepare for potential delays when traveling through these areas, as backups are anticipated. Those who rely on these routes for their daily commute should consider allowing extra time for travel or seeking alternate routes where possible.

As with any construction project of this scale, all scheduled activities are dependent on the weather. In the event of severe conditions, plans may need to be adjusted.
