PECO Utility Improvement to Close Edge Hill Road in Abington Township

Traffic Restrictions Chester County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction beginning Monday, March 20, on Edge Hill Road in Abington Township, Montgomery County.

The work schedule and location are::

  • Monday, March 20, through Friday, March 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Edge Hill Road will be closed between Tyson Avenue and Edgecomb Avenue. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Tyson Avenue and Edgecomb Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
