PECO Utility Improvement Begins Next Week on U.S. 30 in Lower Merion Township

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction beginning next week on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County.

The work schedule and location are:

  • Wednesday, March 22, through Friday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between U.S. 1 (City Avenue) and Woodcircle Drive.

Motorists are being advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
