PECO Utility Improvement Begins Next Week on U.S. 13 in Ridley Park Borough

RIDLEY PARK, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that PECO Energy will begin performing utility construction next week on U.S. 13 (Chester Pike) in Ridley Park Borough, Delaware County.

The work schedule and location are:

  • Monday, February 6, through Tuesday, February 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on westbound U.S. 13 (Chester Pike) between Holland Street and Crum Lynne Road. Work may also take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM if needed by the contractor.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
